These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you (the “Client”) and Tanzania Rewarding Safaris for all travel and tour services arranged by us within Tanzania or other East African destinations. We advise all visitors and prospective travelers to read these terms carefully before proceeding with bookings or inquiries.


1. General

Tanzania Rewarding Safaris is a registered tour operator based in Tanzania, offering customized wildlife safaris, cultural experiences, mountain treks, and holiday packages across Tanzania and neighboring countries.

By using this website or contacting us to arrange travel services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice.


2. Booking Process

  • All travel arrangements are initiated by filling out a booking or inquiry form on our website.

  • Once we receive your inquiry, we will communicate with you to tailor a trip proposal according to your preferences.

  • After mutual agreement on the itinerary, services, and cost, a formal booking confirmation will be issued.

  • Payment terms, including deposits and balances, will be discussed directly with you based on your itinerary and travel dates.

Note: We currently do not support online payment via the website. All payment details are securely handled through direct communication.


3. Client Responsibility

By confirming a booking with us, the Client confirms that:

  • They have read and understood the itinerary and inclusions/exclusions.

  • They are physically capable of participating in the selected tour activities.

  • They will provide accurate information (e.g., full name, passport details, dietary restrictions, medical conditions).

  • They will comply with all laws, customs, foreign exchange, and drug regulations of Tanzania and other countries visited.


4. Travel Insurance

It is strongly recommended that all Clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellation and interruption

  • Emergency medical treatment and evacuation

  • Loss or theft of personal belongings

  • Accidents, delays, and natural disasters

Tanzania Rewarding Safaris is not liable for any costs or losses due to lack of insurance coverage.


5. Prices and Inclusions

Our safari and travel package prices typically include:

  • Accommodation as specified in the itinerary

  • Meals, park fees, and guided tours

  • Ground transportation and transfers

  • Professional English-speaking driver-guides

  • Bottled water during game drives

Prices do not include: international airfare, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, gratuities, and any items not explicitly stated in the itinerary.

Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise agreed and may be subject to change due to currency fluctuations, government tax revisions, or supplier rate changes. Once a deposit is paid, your price is generally locked in unless otherwise discussed.


6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The following charges apply unless stated differently in your personal agreement:

  • More than 60 days before arrival: Full refund minus admin fees

  • 31–60 days: 25% of total trip cost

  • 15–30 days: 50% of total trip cost

  • 14 days or less: 100% of total trip cost

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 30 days.

No refunds are given for unused services, early departures, or missed activities due to personal choice, illness, weather, or airline delays.


7. Modifications and Substitutions

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify routes or accommodations due to weather, safety, availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Substitute accommodations or transport of similar or better quality.

  • Cancel any itinerary due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, etc.).

In such cases, we will work closely with you to reschedule or offer suitable alternatives.


8. Force Majeure

Tanzania Rewarding Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our control, including but not limited to: acts of God, war, civil disturbances, epidemics, strikes, government actions, or weather conditions. Clients will bear any additional costs resulting from such events.


9. Risks and Liabilities

  • Travel involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, exposure to wildlife, difficult terrain, transportation delays, or health risks.

  • The Client assumes all risks associated with travel and participation in activities arranged by the Company.

  • We take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety but shall not be liable for personal injury, death, damage, loss, accident, or delay caused by third-party service providers, negligence, or force majeure.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, photos, logos, graphics, videos, and itineraries — is the property of Tanzania Rewarding Safaris unless otherwise credited. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without our prior written consent.


11. Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how your data is collected, used, and protected.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from the services provided by Tanzania Rewarding Safaris will be resolved through negotiation, and if necessary, through the courts of Tanzania.
